Museum and Exhibit Guides

Audissey Guides are interactive audio guides that intimately connect museum patrons with museum exhibits. We produce creative audio experiences that allow listeners to not only understand your exhibit – they’ll be inspired by it. The audio experience should be bold, exciting, colorful – in short, it should be an accurate reflection of your exhibit.

Sound effects. Original musical scores. Lively interviews. Our creative sound design services deliver your message in an entertaining and extremely powerful way. Unlike traditional audio companies, we believe that music and sound effects convey emotions and messages that words cannot. Today’s visitors don’t want to be lectured. They want to be inspired

We create audio guides that attract a new generation of visitors who value independence, creativity and convenience.  No need to schedule tours.  No groups. No cancellations.  Just patrons, art and a powerful audio experience.

The Boston Public Library commissioned Audissey Guides to produce an audio guide to John Adams Unbound  - a remarkable exhibit of Adams’ personbal library of nearly 4000 books. The Boston Public Library wanted to the audio guide to convey a casual style that would “humanize” John Adams – from a towering historical figure to a humble farmer and avid reader.

A behemoth metal man – nearly 50 feet tall – looms outside the Seattle Art Museum. Millions of visitors stare at this landmark sculpture every year, but few learn what it is – or what it means. This short clip from the Seattle Audissey, featuring Mimi Gates, Director of the Seattle Art Museum, gives visitors the inside story on the mysterious giant.

You can’t walk into the New England Aquarium without first stopping at the seal tank.  Listeners hear this audio clip as they watch the seals swim by. It features an interview with a seal trainer, original music, ambient sound effects, and – believe it or not – a talking seal.
