About Audissey Guides

Audissey Guides was founded in 2005 by Robert Pyles and Juliet De Vries. We started the company because we love to travel – but we tend to avoid traditional guided tours. After all, even if we are tourists, we’re mortified of actually looking like it.
Since there was no cool, independent way to see a new city, we started producing iPod audio guides for cities. And to be quite honest, it was a ton of fun.
Audissey Guides grew quickly, and began producing iPod tours for museums, exhibits and outdoor spaces. We found more sound designers, music engineers, and script writers, and we now work with some of the most creative sound people in the world. And it’s still a ton of fun.

We create innovative audio experiences that illuminate. That inspire. That open people’s eyes to the wonder of the world around them.

We’re easy to work with. Plain and simple. You tell us what you want and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen. We take care of all of the details and strive to make your life easier. We answer our phone, we return your calls quickly and we listen.
Really. It may sound cliché, but we enjoy what we do and we want you to enjoy working with us.
In the few short years we’ve been in business, we’ve worked with many amazing people, organizations and brands. If you would like to talk to any of them, just drop us an email and we’ll be happy to get you in touch with someone who can rave about how great we are to work with. We’re not bragging – we just want to set your mind at ease.
We’ve received some pretty impressive press coverage too. The NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune and many others have covered us.
And we’re always fun to have a beer with.
